How do I use MicroHint?
Install the Chrome extension, select any text on a supported page, PDF, or EPUB, and MicroHint will offer a concise explanation without leaving your reading surface.
What text is sent when I ask for an explanation?
Only the text you selected, plus a small amount of nearby context needed to explain it. Full pages, browsing history, and unselected document content are not collected.
Why does it say my daily limit is reached?
During preview, MicroHint applies daily limits so the service stays reliable. Limits reset each day. Saved explanations and highlights on your device remain available.
Does MicroHint work offline?
Explanations require an internet connection. Previously saved explanations stored on your device can be read offline.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@microhint.app with a short description of what happened, which site or document you were reading, and your browser version if you can. Screenshots help but are optional.
